Ally Coaching is a safe place with a sister who gets it. Whether or not we choose to acknowledge it, most of us are likely to experience some type of trauma in our lifetimes. I am honored to share my experience, strength, and hope that was gained through the hard work of personal recovery from trauma, co-dependency, and addictions, followed by expert training to become a Master Certified Life Coach, with MPTM training through APSATS. Through difficult experiences, God has equipped a whole-hearted servant.
My personal life consists mostly of cattle ranching and trail riding, when I have a riding buddy. Caring for my horses is very therapeutic and good exercise. I also kayak every chance I get. I love working outside, whether it's in the pasture, on my tractor, or in my yard. Animals are drawn to me and have taught me a great deal about responsibility and discipline. I also have two lovely adult children, whom I am blessed to see regularly.
Creativity is a passion, and it has been an honor to use my God-given talent to bring the visions of others to life since 1998. Wall murals are my favorite creative skill, and I have painted many interior and exterior murals over the years, large and small. Through my multimedia design business, Myriad Artworks I also exercise my graphic design skills by offering custom promo products to business owners (logos, caps, T-shirts, business cards, web design, brochures, custom forms, etc). In addition, I am always honored to paint or draw custom commissions, including portraiture (animals and people).
My coaching goals are to continue training in relational trauma, acquire certification in autism training, and to incorporate creative skills into my coaching offerings. I trust God's plans and purposes for my life (Jeremiah 29:11).
If you are seeking faith-based, trauma-informed support for recovery from relational trauma and/or abuse, please schedule a free 15-minute virtual consultation to determine whether Ally Coaching is right for you. Let's consider how God can use your pain for your good and His glory (Romans 8:28).

Betrayal Trauma is devastating because of the emotional attachment that precedes the discovery of ongoing deception and/or abuse. It is a natural neurobiological response that commonly causes cPTSD or PTSD, and it doesn't heal without dedicated work with professionals who have a scientific understanding and/or have done the hard work to recover from it themselves. Before I recognized and became educated about cPTSD, I didn't think psychology was important; I used spiritual bypass to sustain myself for decades. But the neurobiological symptoms that I experienced could not be suppressed with scripture alone. So, I began to educate myself by working with Christian mental health professionals who provided the support, knowledge, and resources to guide me in my healing process. It's been a long hard road, and I'm now called and honored to pay forward what I've learned. Onward and upward! - Sabrina Polk
